Prayer is the act of communing with God. Throughout the Bible we find numerous accounts of God responding to prayer and moving on behalf of individuals, groups and whole na- tions to bring His will to pass. It is through the Father’s re- sponse to our prayers that He reveals more of himself to us. This increases our faith in Him and aids in developing our relationship with Him. It is my hope that you will take away from this book a greater love for prayer. I pray that God would remove from our minds a sense of praying out of duty, and make it a delight. Whatever your reason for prayer, it is clear that God gets joy out of being acknowledged in every situa- tion. He wants to give you power to overcome, outlast, and continue to operate effectively in our Christian walk.
